Therapy is a personal investment. My fees are:
$150 for clinical hour
$125 for 45 minutes
Payment is due at the time of service and can be paid via cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.
Cancellations
After our initial meeting, we will schedule a standing appointment time that you can count on each week. I will make every effort to reschedule you when enough notice is given; however, cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will result in a no show fee of $75 for the missed session.
Insurance
Managing insurance plans can be challenging, especially when you are seeking help for mental health issues you or a loved one are experiencing. I will be more than willing to help you understand your insurance benefits and can speak with your insurance company if needed. Please let me know if you need help with this.
Please note that it is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine the extent of your mental health benefits as they relate to my services. This will help ensure peace of mind as you work towards beginning a valued, therapeutic relationship.
When checking with your insurance provider, some helpful questions to ask your carrier include:
- What are my mental health benefits?
- Do I need a referral from my primary care physician or pre-authorization from my insurance company prior to pursuing therapy?
- What is my annual deductible and has it been met?
- What is my out of pocket expense before and after my deductible has been met?
- How many sessions are covered per calendar year?
- Do I have a co-pay? If so, what is my co-pay?
- Is there an extension coverage package for certain diagnoses (e.g., autism)?
